OUR STORY Founded by two friends, together our concept came from our infatuation to find denims numero uno. Forever searching for the perfect piece to perfectly match our peaches and jeans, we created: With Jéan in July, 2017. Denim is the magic in our wardrobes, each pair holds memories and unforgettable moments with stories to tell. So you see… We really needed to create the pieces to partner with the magic. Each piece has been truly thought out to meet that perfect combination we love and adore. By creating our individual pieces rather than collections we hope to continue to deliver pieces as timeless as your vintage blue’s. The pieces we have forever been searching for. So, here we are, at last, creating them for you too. Inspired by you, made for us all and worn With Jéan.
ETHICS All of our pieces are ethically produced and manufactured between Indonesia and China. We were conscious consumers before we were With Jéan's parents, so from the very beginning we built the necessary practices into our business model to ensure we were always in support of ethical labour. We do not mass produce in questionable factories with unknown, never ending supply chains and aggressive deadlines. We have an incredible large team of artisan sewers and creators in both locations, working in family owned businesses in safe, happy and comfortable environments. We cherish each and every person that touches our product throughout the process as without them, we wouldn't be With Jéan. We work mostly with natural fibre fabrics such as rayon (fujette and viscose), cotton and linen, and we hand dye and print all our fabrics. All pieces are packaged in biodegradable plastic. Sustainability is a major focus here at With Jéan and something we continue to work towards.
i=CHANGE As of April 2018 With Jéan proudly donates $1 of every sale to three extraordinary projects involved with i=Change. Each project is focused mostly on empowering women and girls and are run by some of the most impactful development organisations with all proceeds going to each project.
